Internships

JKCCS is a largely voluntary organization, and Student Interns and Volunteers are critical to our work and community. Internships are for a duration of minimum four weeks. We accept student interns for full time placements based in our office in Srinagar. We advise you to take a look at our website for a survey of the kind of efforts and interventions we are or have been involved in, before applying. Internships and Volunteering opportunities at JKCCS are unpaid.

We look for undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in research and field-based assignments on issues of human rights and humanitarian laws, human rights campaigns, and advocacy. As an intern, your work will be dependent on the day-to-day, contemporary engagements of the organization at the time of your placement. We will try to accommodate areas of interest that you have indicated to us in your application.
